Nestled in the hills of the Castelli Romani, a 19th-century building has been given a new lease of life thanks to a project by architect Amedeo Verginelli, in collaboration with romaprogetta and Tecnografica. The result is Villa Madre, a luxury vacation home that combines the charm of tradition with refined, contemporary design.
The project restores the original spaces' identity and prestige, interpreting them through fine materials, sophisticated textures, and designer surfaces. Inside the four new suites, Tecnografica products create a harmonious dialogue between architecture, art, and nature.
Ultralight slabs with "Paramè," "Laguna," and "Onice Cappuccino" designs elegantly adorn bathrooms and showers, creating plays of light and reflections that amplify the perception of space. Artistic wallpapers add character and identity: "White" by the artist MAD fits discreetly into the wood paneling of a suite, while "Elenoire" by Giovanna Casotto and "Nazarè" in the H2O finish enhance bathrooms and showers, bringing color and personality to the spaces.
In the spa area, the "Paradiso 23" graphic by artist Margherita Leoni transforms the space into a dreamlike, immersive, and relaxing garden. The walls of the hot tub are once again adorned with "Nazarè" in the H2O finish, for an enveloping effect that enhances the sense of well-being.
