Living Room – Private Project by Laurentiu Paicu

Architect Laurentiu Paicu curated the interior design of a luxury apartment in Mamaia, a seaside resort in Romania. Since it is a holiday apartment, the space is limited, and the architect had to find creative solutions to optimize the arrangement of the various areas. One example is the layout of the living area, where the architect used gold profiles on both the walls and the floor to separate the kitchen space from the lounge area. Additionally, he leveraged color contrast to enhance the two zones, choosing dark, glossy tones for the kitchen and neutral shades with soft textures for the living room. To decorate the wall behind the television, Laurentiu Paicu selected the "Athena" wallpaper. With its design of arches and columns, "Athena" creates an optical illusion that gives greater depth to the living room and evokes a classical atmosphere.
