The project for the ophthalmology clinic in Sassari, designed by the architecture studio domECO, stands out for its design that combines functionality and aesthetics, creating a welcoming and relaxing environment for patients. The Rico wallpaper by Tecnografica (color variant: Color) was used in the project. It blends jungle style with geometric motifs and was skillfully employed to visually enrich different areas of the clinic, such as the waiting room, reception, and examination rooms. The waiting area, featuring comfortable seating and shades of green, is enhanced by backlit arches that frame the wallpaper. This detail emphasizes the use of natural elements and soft colors, creating a space that conveys calm and serenity. The reception area, defined by clean lines and warm materials, finds in the wallpaper a perfect balance between modernity and a natural touch. Its use in the examination rooms confirms domECO’s aim to unite aesthetics and functionality: the professional environment becomes more human and welcoming thanks to the presence of large tropical leaves that add depth and movement to the spaces.
