400GON is a young architecture and design studio based in Campania. For an apartment located in Vomero, one of the hilltop districts of Naples (Italy), the studio handled its renovation. The open-plan living area, which includes the kitchen and living room, was positioned to take full advantage of the exclusive view of Mount Vesuvius and the Gulf of Naples that the apartment offers. The home has a strong personality and makes ample use of color, which appears throughout the various rooms as bright accents standing out against neutral tones. The two bathrooms in the home, on the other hand, were conceived as "monochromatic boxes," characterized by saturated colors and Tecnografica wallpapers. The selected wallpapers match the respective bathroom tones and share a jungle style. “Canary” is an exotic tropical landscape, while “Darwin” features a delicate pattern inspired by jungle plants and animals. The final result is the creation of two warm, bold, and contemporary spaces that reflect the clients’ requests.
