Stardust Apartment by Miso Architects

The architecture studio Miso Architects designed a 165 sqm apartment in Bucharest (Romania). The large space available is the result of merging two separate apartments. The first challenge was to efficiently redistribute the layout. The professionals at Miso Architects successfully created three bedrooms, three bathrooms, as well as a kitchen, living room, and dining area. The apartment’s color palette features various shades of grey, with black and gold metal accents. Mirrors—both clear and smoked—were also used to visually expand the space. A special touch is added by Tecnografica’s products. To decorate the entrance, Miso Architects included a Dècora Glass panel with the “Stardust” graphic, from which the project gets its name. The glass panel was backlit using a custom-designed light box created by the studio itself. Another decorative panel was installed in one of the bathrooms, featuring the “Antarctica” graphic. Tecnografica wallpapers were also selected to enhance this elegant apartment. The arch-themed “Athena” wallpaper serves as a backdrop for the dining area, while the jungle-themed “Fitzcarraldo” wallpaper, designed by Marco Fontana, covers the walls of one of the bathrooms.
