Bathroom – Maiquez Project by Studio Madera

Studio Madera was responsible for the renovation of a 60 m² apartment in the Ibiza district of Madrid (Spain). The client’s requests included bringing in as much natural light as possible and ensuring a view of the terrace from every room in the house. To meet these requirements, the interior design studio redistributed the available space, creating an open-plan living area, a bedroom, and a bathroom. Studio Madera also designed a walk-in closet between the bedroom and the bathroom, and added glass sliding doors to divide the spaces when needed while still allowing light to pass through. The focal point of the bathroom is the shower wall, decorated with Tecnografica’s H2O wallpaper — the water-resistant finish suitable for humid environments.
