Casa Scalzi Project by Rossella Barrasso

Architect and Home Stager Rossella Barrasso oversaw the renovation of Casa Scalzi, a holiday home in Rome (Italy), located within the Opificio Appio real estate complex. In particular, Rossella Barrasso studied the home's style, selected furnishings, accessories, and textiles, leveraging her dual background in architecture and home staging. The project was curated down to the smallest details to ensure a welcoming and refined experience for visiting tourists. The apartment's style lies between modern and industrial, reflected in the furnishings and every decorative element. Upon entering the apartment, attention is immediately drawn to the "Prisma" wallpaper, Gouache color variant, which serves as the backdrop for the sofa. With its geometric patterns and shades of gray and blue, the wallpaper echoes the dominant style and colors of the furnishings. The same graphic design was also chosen for the bedroom, where it was installed behind the two bedside tables, creating a cohesive theme throughout the holiday home.
