Holiday Apartment – Project by Domus Materiae

Domus Materiae, together with partner romaprogetta, managed the renovation of a holiday apartment for RomeLoft in Rome (Italy). The apartment is rented by tourists visiting the capital, so spaces had to be optimized without sacrificing comfort. To achieve this, the living area was divided using a system of sliding doors. The first door hides the kitchen, while the second opens onto a second living room that can be transformed into an additional bedroom thanks to the sofa bed. To make the sliding doors an integral part of the interior design, they were covered on both sides with the "Fitzcarraldo" wallpaper by Marco Fontana. The jungle-themed wallpaper, combined with modern furnishings, helps give the apartment a contemporary and refined touch.
