Counter for Bar Project – Cloud 9 by Lageard Architettura

Cloud 9 is one of the most successful American-style bar and bistro projects in the recent Turin scene. Located within Villa Sassi—one of the most famous wedding and event venues in the Turin area (Italy)—it was created in one wing of the seventeenth-century villa. Cloud 9 offers a refined and eclectic environment. The Turin-based studio Lageard Architettura managed the entire project, from the bar design to the choice of covering panels for the counter, thus developing the entire interior design concept around the idea of the "cloud." Conceived as a place suspended in time and space, Cloud 9 was intended to be a setting where guests could enjoy a complete and unique gastronomic experience, from aperitif to after-dinner. Lageard Architettura therefore designed a creative and sophisticated style, with custom furnishings and details to personalize the American bar’s interior. The dominant blue and gold colors, combined with luxurious velvet finishes, lend a glamorous touch, further emphasizing the exclusivity of the venue. Among the details specially created for Cloud 9 is the Lounge Bar counter, customized with Tecnografica decorative panels. For the realization and design, Lageard Architettura collaborated with Romeo 1953, Tecnografica’s partner based in San Mauro Torinese. Three Dècora LED decorative panels were used for the covering, separated by a rounded brass section to create the beveled corner. All the panels are backlit with an integrated RGB LED system, producing a spectacular lighting effect that amazes guests. The chosen graphic for the decorative panels is "Antarctica," which reproduces a precious stone in shades of blue, echoing the bar’s color palette and evoking polar atmospheres.
