Bedroom – Urban Soul Project by GAP Interiorismo

GAP Interiorismo, a Spanish interior design studio, handled the restyling of an apartment in the center of Castellón (Spain). The owners wanted a comfortable and functional apartment despite the limited square footage. To meet the clients' needs, architect Gabriele Appierto of GAP Interiorismo maximized the available space and added home automation systems to facilitate remote household management. The protagonists of the project are the custom-made furniture pieces, which on one hand solve common space issues and on the other make the division of the various spaces more regular. In the design of the master bedroom, GAP Interiorismo applied the same style that characterizes the rest of the home: elegant, thanks to the use of high-quality finishes, yet minimalist, to keep the spaces "light." As decoration for the wall behind the bed’s headboard, Gabriele Appierto chose the "Malmoe" wallpaper. Specifically customized for the project in pink tones, this graphic from the "Handmade" collection of modern wallpapers reproduces a distressed cement effect, adding texture to the wall without weighing down the room's decor.
