Bedroom e Home Office – Private project by OVA Design Studio

Natalia Ivanova, interior designer and owner of OVA Design Studio, oversaw the interior design of a recently renovated apartment in Eixample, a central district of Barcelona (Spain). The interior designer aimed to capture the essence of the building and enhance it through the interior decoration. The style that most characterizes the apartment is Modern Classic, a perfect balance of traditional and modern elements that gives the home a contemporary feel without losing touch with the past. Natalia Ivanova decided to preserve some classic furnishings, such as doors and wardrobes, and combine them with more modern and functional furniture. Among the more contemporary elements she introduced is Tecnografica wallpaper, installed in both the master bedroom and the studio. The master bedroom is narrow, with very high ceilings, original to the building. To enhance the space, Natalia Ivanova suggested using wallpaper with vertical patterns to further elongate the walls and expand the perception of the space. The chosen graphic design was "Pensiero Naturale" by Giorgia Beltrami. The watercolor countryside landscape creates a delicate atmosphere and fits perfectly with the selected style. This graphic subject was not chosen solely for its perspective effect: the trees depicted in the design reminded the owner of a place from his childhood, adding emotional value and a personal touch to the home. The other room decorated with wallpaper is the second bedroom, converted into a studio. Here too, the Modern Classic style is reflected in the choice of both the built-in wardrobe and the classic-style desk, alongside the more modern sofa and wallpaper. The room is very elegant, with an exotic accent provided by the tropical wallpaper "Polly" from the I Decorativi collection. One of Tecnografica’s most appreciated designs, "Polly" brings a fresh, unexpected vibe to the room with its exotic plants and colorful parrots.
