Tecnografica took part in the “Mameli Home” project, the renovation of a property in Milan (Italy) for the well-known Italian make-up artist Manuele Mameli.
Originally from Sardinia, Manuele moved to Milan to pursue his career ambitions and, like many other young professionals living away from home, had to adapt to shared apartments to prioritize his work. After many sacrifices and well-deserved successes, Manuele Mameli finally fulfilled a dream he had long shared with his parents: purchasing his first home.
Thus, the “Mameli Home” project was born, carefully designed in every detail by the Milan-based architecture firm GuMi Studio.
The entire house was conceived as an oasis of tranquility and relaxation. Often feeling anxious and stressed, Manuele wanted a true "nest," a place to come back to after long days and fully unwind. The architects fulfilled his wishes by choosing soft, calming colors throughout the home.
Thanks to the collaboration with Manuele Mameli and GuMi Studio, Tecnografica supplied the wallpapers that decorate the so-called “Filter Area” and the dividing panel in the "Glam Room."
The "Filter Area" specifically serves to separate the sleeping area from the living area. Through three arches, one can access the living room, dining room, and kitchen. Decorating this space is the “Livingstone” wallpaper in its new ‘Blue’ variant: now available in the catalog, this special color version was created exclusively for the “Mameli Home” project.
Thanks to Tecnografica’s customization service, the designers adapted the original graphic design by incorporating blue tones and golden highlights, just as requested by Manuele and the architectural team.
The goal was to respect the home's color palette and create a direct chromatic connection with the gold profiles of the walls.
The jungle pattern with retro accents covers all the walls of the "Filter Area," immersing anyone who enters into an exotic dreamlike atmosphere. Furthermore, to expand the perception of space and create a continuous play of reflections, mirrors were installed on the ceiling.
The final effect is surprisingly spectacular.
