For Giulia Ori, her attraction to the world of art has always been a constant companion throughout her life.
Born on March 4, 1985, in Formigine (Modena), Giulia gradually transformed that innate attraction into pure passion, nurtured by her love for art that blossomed as early as elementary school. It was an evolution rooted in fertile ground, thanks to her father’s deep interest in drawing and photography.
Her memories of childhood days spent in the countryside with her grandmother also remain a key reference point in the interpretation of her works. Giulia Ori’s art is indeed based on a return to a past whose outlines have faded over time, but which — despite this slow erosion — is still perceived as close and accessible through images. The combination of differentmaterials and fabrics gives voice to the artist’s imagination, in a liberating act that unleashes her creativity.
As with Impressionism – a movement to which Giulia feels particularly connected – her works reveal the shapes of tangible elements without defining them completely. It is an art that tells its own story, yet always leaves room for the interpretation of the viewer.
